Thu Jun 19, 2003 Tracker 2003-17: 2002 FALC bulk sample delivers good and bad news The 2002 Fort a la Corne bulk sample yielded disappointing grade and large stone recovery for a 729 tonne sample extracted from "mega graded bed" kimberlite that seems to represent a large portion of the 140/141 kimberlite. However, smaller bulk samples from coarser grained material in the so called "south breccia beds" and a younger eruptive center yielded much better grade and large stone recovery. Questions are raised about the possibility that the already complex 140/141 system has been further complicated by post eruption sorting. The spotlight now shifts to Shore Gold's underground bulk sample on the adjacent Star kimberlite. |

Fri Jun 13, 2003 Tracker 2003-16: Shear - Churchill Play delivers third kimberlite in a row Three kimberlites in a row, many more targets, good regional chemistry, a large land position, BHP as a voluntary minority partner, and kimberlite discoveries by gold juniors on nearby ground set the stage for explosive market action for 51% partner Shear Minerals that could push its price above that of 35% partner Northern Empire. |

Fri Jun 6, 2003 Tracker 2003-15: GGL - Doyle Lake Claim Dispute Finally Over The Doyle Lake claim dispute is finally over, with De Beers and GGL now having 60:40 respectively. The next step is to delineate the sill and obtain micro diamond results, plus follow up other targets. Followup would involve many bulk sampling next winter. The biggest beneficiary may be Mountain Province, whose price is languishing under market assumptions it will be a long time before De Beers decides to put neighboring Kennady Lake into production. Although Doyle Lake might become future mill feed, its bluesky will help GGL fund its 100% owned projects. |

Sat May 31, 2003 Tracker 2003-14: Sudbury Contact - Unpromising Timiskaming play a prelude to broader diamond focus? Sudbury Contact has filed a preliminary prospectus to raise as much as $20 million, most of which is earmarked for the Timiskaming diamond project in Ontario. The focus will be the 95-2 kimberlite, estimated to have a 25 million tonne resource and low to medium grade potential. Micro diamond data, however, suggests very low grade potential. A mini bulk sample will test for macro grade. The size of the proposed financing suggests that Timiskaming is a stepping stone that will help turn Sudbury Contact in an aggressive diamond exploration arm of Agnico Eagle. |

Tue May 27, 2003 Tracker 2003-13: Shear - Northern Empire and Shear gear up for Churchill drilling A $3 million buyout offer from BHP for a 14% minority stake, a large land position in the East Arctic covering indicator minerals with exceptional diamond inclusion chemistry, and an imminent drill program on 23 bulls-eye magnetic anomalies could turn Shear and Northern Empire's Churchill project into a hot diamond discovery play. |

Thu May 8, 2003 Tracker 2003-12: Northern Empire - Aviat Play gets big boost through BHP's hard cash offer Evaluates BHP cash over to buy minority stakes in the Aviat and Churchill projects, assesses latest AV1 micro diamond results, suggests that Diamonds North and its Victoria Island play offer better speculative value over the next six months than Melville Peninsula. |

Sun May 4, 2003 Tracker 2003-011: GGL - INAC Tribunal rules in favor of GGL The INAC Tribunal has ruled in favor of GGL, but the decision remains subject to appeal to the federal court within 30 days. John Dupuis has emerged as the driving force behind the claim dispute, and his track record suggests he will file an appeal as a strategy to extract a settlement. |

Wed Apr 30, 2003 Tracker 2003-10: Ashton - Renard pipes approaching 20 million tonnes Delineation drilling on the Foxtrot project in Quebec has demonstrated that Renard 5 and 6 are a single pipe, and confirmed that the kimberlite walls are near vertical. This allows crude resource estimates that suggest tonnage for the key Renard pipes is approaching 20 million tonnes to a depth of 200 metres. Grade results for a 12 tonne mini bulk sample from Renard 5-6 will be critical in determining of Ashton proceeds to the next stage of bulk sampling for carat value. |

Tue Apr 15, 2003 Tracker 2003-09: Mountain Province - Same Time Same Place Next Year Assesses decision by De Beers to postpone Kennady Lake prefeasibility study for at least another year. |
 |
Fri Apr 4, 2003 Tracker 2003-08: Mountain Province - Weaker than expected carat values for Hearne and 5034 Analyzes updated modeled revenue values for Hearne and 5034 pipes, explains that the key news will be decision by De Beers to proceed with a feasibility study and permitting, argues this will happen even if target 15% IRR is not met by desktop study. |

Tue Mar 25, 2003 Tracker 2003-06: Ashton - Big surprise potential from Alberta and Quebec Discusses potential of three new kimberlites in Alberta to create a new market focus for Ashton, also explains that the $6 million Foxtrot "mini bulk sample" program is really a delineation drilling program designed to boost the tonnage implications of the Renard cluster on the Foxtrot project in Quebec. |

Thu Mar 20, 2003 Tracker 2003-05: Mountain Province - Kelvin and Faraday dyke systems extended Discusses drill results for the Kelvin/Faraday kimberlite dyke systems on the Kennady Lake project, draws comparisons with the Snap Lake project, and clarifies what some construed as a veiled warning in Mountain Province's March 11 news release. |
 |
Mon Mar 10, 2003 Tracker 2003-04: Southwestern - Boka's first hole a good start Evaluates the first drill hole in the Boka 1 zone of Southwestern's Boka gold project in China's Yunnan Province. Gold mineralization was continuous throughout the target stratigraphy, ranging 0.2 g/t to 30 g/t in a manner similar to that displayed by panel samples in tunnels lacking the spectacular high grade values. The results confirm the stratabound nature of gold mineralization in what is a very large system. |
